Signal source
Route Zapier alerts automatically.
Turn a Zapier workflow event into an Algomatex signal with a Webhooks by Zapier action.

From your signal to your broker, through Algomatex.
01About the source
Get to know Zapier
Zapier connects applications through automated workflows called Zaps, using triggers followed by actions.
- What it does
- A Webhooks by Zapier POST action can turn data from an earlier step into a structured Algomatex signal.
- What to check before connecting
- Choose JSON as the payload type and map fields explicitly. Check current plan access to Webhooks by Zapier and workflow limits on the official pricing page.
Features, limits and prices are set by the provider and may change. Check its official pages before subscribing.
02Setup
Connect Zapier in three steps.
- 1
Copy your webhook URL
Create a webhook in Algomatex and copy its URL. It is the only thing the sender needs.
- 2
Add a Webhooks by Zapier action
After your trigger, add Webhooks by Zapier and select POST. Paste the Algomatex webhook URL, choose JSON as the payload type, and map your data to the signal fields. Test the action before publishing the workflow.
- 3
Algomatex does the rest
Every signal passes the safety checks before an order reaches your broker.
03The signal
What to send.
Map the signal fields in the action Data section and choose JSON as the payload type. A Custom Request can send the JSON body directly. The example below uses sample values.
{
"signal": "BUY",
"side": "long",
"ticker": "AAPL",
"price": 189.5
}04Questions
Zapier, answered.
Should I use POST or Custom Request?
POST with the JSON payload type is suitable for ordinary signal fields. Use Custom Request when you need to control the raw JSON body yourself.
What if the request fails?
Algomatex answers every post with a status and a reason, and the rejected signal appears in the webhook's deliveries, so you can fix the body and send it again.
