01About the source

Get to know TrendSpider

TrendSpider combines market research, chart analysis, strategy testing, alerts and strategy bots.

What it does
Dynamic and Multi-Factor Alerts can send webhook messages. Strategy Bots have separate webhook settings for entry and exit actions.
What to check before connecting
Configure the destination and JSON in TrendSpider, and check the features included in your subscription. The alert description and bot webhook body are separate settings.

Features, limits and prices are set by the provider and may change. Check its official pages before subscribing.

02Setup

Connect TrendSpider in three steps.

  1. 1

    Copy your webhook URL

    Create a webhook in Algomatex and copy its URL. It is the only thing the sender needs.

  2. 2

    Configure TrendSpider webhook delivery

    In TrendSpider, open Account & Settings and enable Webhook in your notification preferences. Paste your Algomatex webhook URL. Create a Dynamic or Multi-Factor Alert and put the signal JSON in its description. Select webhook delivery for the alert.

  3. 3

    Algomatex does the rest

    Every signal passes the safety checks before an order reaches your broker.

03The signal

What to send.

TrendSpider sends the alert description as the POST body. Paste valid signal JSON there; TrendSpider supports %alert_symbol% for the symbol and %last_price% for the current price. The example below contains fixed sample values; replace them or use supported variables.

{
  "signal": "BUY",
  "side": "long",
  "ticker": "AAPL",
  "price": 189.5
}

TrendSpider, answered.

Read every question

Can I send signals from a TrendSpider Strategy Bot?

Yes. Strategy Bots have separate entry and exit webhook URLs and bodies. Configure the Algomatex URL and the appropriate signal JSON for each action in the bot settings.

What if the request fails?

Algomatex answers every post with a status and a reason, and the rejected signal appears in the webhook's deliveries, so you can fix the body and send it again.
