Signal source
Route IFTTT alerts automatically.
Use an IFTTT Applet to send a signal to Algomatex through the Webhooks service.

From your signal to your broker, through Algomatex.
01About the source
Get to know IFTTT
IFTTT connects apps and services with Applets built around a trigger and an action.
- What it does
- The Webhooks service includes a Make a web request action that can send a JSON signal to an external URL.
- What to check before connecting
- Check that your plan includes the Webhooks action. Use POST, application/json and the signal fields expected by Algomatex rather than the IFTTT trigger format.
Features, limits and prices are set by the provider and may change. Check its official pages before subscribing.
02Setup
Connect IFTTT in three steps.
- 1
Copy your webhook URL
Create a webhook in Algomatex and copy its URL. It is the only thing the sender needs.
- 2
Choose Make a web request
Create an Applet with your chosen trigger. For Then That, select Webhooks and Make a web request. Paste your Algomatex webhook URL, choose POST, set Content Type to application/json, and put the signal JSON in Body.
- 3
Algomatex does the rest
Every signal passes the safety checks before an order reaches your broker.
03The signal
What to send.
Put the signal JSON in the Make a web request action Body and set Content Type to application/json. Replace the sample values with your trigger ingredients where appropriate.
{
"signal": "BUY",
"side": "long",
"ticker": "AAPL",
"price": 189.5
}04Questions
IFTTT, answered.
Where do I put values from the trigger?
Use Add Ingredient in the request body to insert values supplied by your trigger. Make sure the resulting body remains valid signal JSON.
What if the request fails?
Algomatex answers every post with a status and a reason, and the rejected signal appears in the webhook's deliveries, so you can fix the body and send it again.
