Getting Started

8 questions

What is Algomatex?

Algomatex turns TradingView alerts, or a request from any webhook sender, into orders at your broker. Each signal passes 14 pre-trade risk gates and reaches your broker in under 400ms. You don't need to write code, run a VPS or maintain a broker API connection.

How do I get started?

Create a free account to trade on Algomatex paper accounts, or choose a paid plan to connect a real broker account. Then copy your webhook URL from the Webhooks page and paste it into the Webhook URL field of your TradingView alert.

Do I need coding experience?

No. Setup is done with forms and buttons. The only code-like part is the short JSON message in your TradingView alert, and we provide ready-made templates for common strategies that you copy and paste.

Does Algomatex work with TradingView?

Yes. TradingView is our main and most-tested integration. Set the alert's Webhook URL to your Algomatex endpoint and paste our JSON template into the Message field. TradingView placeholders such as {{ticker}}, {{close}} and {{time}} are filled in before the alert is sent.

Which TradingView subscription do I need to send signals?

Algomatex does not include TradingView, so you need your own paid TradingView plan. TradingView sends webhooks only from paid plans (Essential and above, not the free Basic plan), and it also requires two-factor authentication on your TradingView account. If you want to put alerts on whole watchlists or on many indicators and strategies at once, choose Premium or higher: watchlist alerts are available from Premium, and higher plans allow more active alerts. Check TradingView's pricing page for the current limits.

Which TrendSpider subscription do I need to use it as a signal source?

Algomatex does not include TrendSpider, so you need your own TrendSpider plan with alerts or Strategy Bots enabled. TrendSpider does not publish a separate webhook tier: you switch webhooks on under Account & Settings (the Webhook box under Email and SMS) and paste your Algomatex webhook URL into the alert or Strategy Bot. Plans differ in how many active alerts and live bots they allow, so pick one that covers the number of strategies you plan to run, and check TrendSpider's pricing page for the current limits.

Can I send signals from sources other than TradingView?

Yes. Any system that can POST a JSON body to your webhook URL works: your own Python scripts, Pine Script strategies, ThinkScript or a third-party signal service. The payload format is documented on the Webhooks page.

What happens when my first signal arrives?

Algomatex checks your kill switch, verifies the request's signature, confirms that neither your subscription nor your broker is paused, and then runs the 14 pre-trade gates in order. All of this takes under 50ms before the order goes to your broker.
