Is Trading 212 regulated?
Yes. Trading 212 UK Ltd. is regulated by the FCA (FRN 609146), Trading 212 Markets Ltd. by CySEC (licence 398/21), Trading 212 EU GmbH by BaFin, Trading 212 AU PTY LTD by ASIC (AFSL 541122) and Trading 212 Ltd. by Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission. A client's entity depends on their country of residence.
Does Trading 212 charge commission on stocks?
No. Invest, ISA and SIPP accounts have no trading commission and no custody fee. A 0.15% FX fee applies when an instrument is bought or sold in a different currency, and exchange or tax charges such as UK stamp duty apply where relevant.
Can US residents open a Trading 212 account?
No. The United States and Canada are not among Trading 212's supported countries, and its site states that its information is not directed at residents of either country.
Are deposits free at Trading 212?
Bank transfers are free. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay deposits into Invest and ISA accounts are free until 2,000 GBP/EUR has been deposited in total, after which a 0.7% fee applies to the amount above that. Withdrawals are free.
Does Algomatex hold my money?
No. Orders go to your own Trading 212 account and your funds stay at Trading 212. Algomatex never receives, holds or moves them.
Which Trading 212 markets can I automate?
The ones marked supported in the table above. Anything Trading 212 offers that the table marks as not available isn't automated yet.
Can I stop automation on Trading 212 at once?
Yes. Pause Trading 212 alone from its broker page, or use the kill switch to halt every account. A paused account places no new orders until you resume it.
