Is Lime Trading regulated?
Yes. Lime Trading Corp. is a registered broker-dealer, a member of FINRA (CRD #11826) and SIPC, and a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant and NFA member.
What is the minimum deposit at Lime?
Lime lists $1,000 for cash accounts and $2,000 for margin accounts for U.S. and regular foreign clients, $5,000 for enhanced-due-diligence foreign accounts, and $30,000 for Lime Trader Plus.
Can non-U.S. residents open a Lime account?
Yes, foreign citizens can apply, though residents of some countries are not accepted. Non-U.S. accounts pay $0.005 per share on stocks, with a $0.50 minimum per ticket.
Does Lime charge an inactivity fee?
Lime charges $15 per quarter, waived for accounts with at least 5 trade executions in the quarter or at least $25,000 in equity.
Does Algomatex hold my money?
No. Orders go to your own Lime account and your funds stay at Lime. Algomatex never receives, holds or moves them.
Which Lime markets can I automate?
The ones marked supported in the table above. Anything Lime offers that the table marks as not available isn't automated yet.
Can I stop automation on Lime at once?
Yes. Pause Lime alone from its broker page, or use the kill switch to halt every account. A paused account places no new orders until you resume it.
