06FAQ

Sterling Trading Tech and Algomatex, answered

Answers about Sterling Trading Tech come from its own pages and regulators' records, checked 26 Oct 2026.

Read every question

Is Sterling Trading Tech a broker?

No. Sterling builds trading platforms and risk systems that brokers and trading firms license. You open your account with one of those firms, and that firm holds your money and is the regulated party.

What can I trade on Sterling Trader Pro?

Sterling lists equities, options and futures for Sterling Trader Pro, including multi-leg options spreads. What you can actually trade depends on the broker that provides your access.

How much does Sterling cost?

Sterling does not publish a public price list. Platform fees and commissions are charged by the broker or trading firm you use.

Does Algomatex hold my money?

No. Orders go to your own Sterling Trading Tech account and your funds stay at Sterling Trading Tech. Algomatex never receives, holds or moves them.

Which Sterling Trading Tech markets can I automate?

The ones marked supported in the table above. Anything Sterling Trading Tech offers that the table marks as not available isn't automated yet.

Can I stop automation on Sterling Trading Tech at once?

Yes. Pause Sterling Trading Tech alone from its broker page, or use the kill switch to halt every account. A paused account places no new orders until you resume it.
